I've been meaning to write drabbles to get me in the mood of writing OCs that weren't part of America Mew Mew. Now that AMM's over, it's time for me to sink my teeth into something new! (Bonus episodes will still come out, no worries, but I'm in no hurry to write them anymore. ♥ )

This is a excerpt from Beyblade: F-Start, a backstory series for my OC Minoru Mizuhara. However, F-Start focuses on Takeshi Kinomiya, the kendo champion who was coerced into beyblading, a sport he finds ridiculous and over-the-top. In context, this story should make more sense. And uh... the mention of beyblades are the only things that make this a not-original story, I swear. XD

Disclaimer: Okay: Takao, Kouijou (sp), Hiromi, and a lot of the canons aren't mine. But Takeshi, Noru (doi), Shinnen, Renjiro, Koutan, and a bunch of others *are* mine.
Note: I wrote BSB F-Start from Takeshi's POV. This means that while I'm not forcing you to read all the chapters since some don't deal with Noru at all, there will be some stuff that Noru may not play a major role in. Basically, this chapter deals partly with Noru; I skipped the first chapter because I don't think anyone wants to see a Noru-less story. Oh, and yes - I wrote it from a POV most of you Kokoro people'd probably appreciate, so it does give a little info on the sport (or what little I remember of it).
