I do think I'll go back and edit this story as a whole, once I'm done; some bits seem extraneous even now, and this is far more a love letter to a dumb Arab warlock than it is to his kickass vampire-y girlfriend. ;;

While current canon hasn't contradicted this, it hasn't confirmed it either, so this might be a bit handwave-y for those unfamiliar with the comics.

I don't think I'll ever abandon this universe completely, but it's been hard to write the next chapter for the main fic, so these snippets [taking place AFTER the main fic] have helped. That said, it doesn't deviate much from canon beyond Jenna's status as a married woman - so it can be read without further context, I believe. (Also, this was a conscious attempt at writing a fic without involving food. I actually succeeded!)

To those who need context: this is an AU where Stefan & Damon were human warlocks and raised along with Elena and company, and their relationship dynamics have shifted as a result of the familiarity.
