His girlfriend Liz thought she agreed with this assessment... until she realized that maybe he's got what it takes to be a father after all.
Notes: This is a remix of an old fic, Caring. The idea was to take the same plot and rewrite it as if I were currently coming up with it for the first time! I have no clue if I succeeded, but it's fun to see how my writing has changed over the years.
