Card Game [ToS-ToA]; Double Take [YP5-TMM]

Title: Card Game
Fandoms: Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss (possibly in Tales of the World timeline, except that ToW has long-haired Luke)
Summary: Lloyd and Luke, playing Uno? This sounds normal.
Disclaimer: You should know that this isn't mine. o_o;
"I think I'm gonna win," Luke triumphantly called, looking over his deck at his opponent with a smirk. "There isn't much of a chance for ya."
His opponent, a brunet, simply blinked. "But.. isn't the point of this game to have no cards, Luke? You have like a thousand."
Luke sweatdropped. "Eheheh... so it is, Lloyd."
"Hehe, so this means that I'm closer, right~?"
Luke narrowed his eyes. "Shut up and go all ready."
Lloyd nodded. "Okay, then," He called, putting down his cards.
Just then, Tear walked by. She paused for a moment, looking down as Lloyd called down, "UNO!"
"...Lloyd?"
He blinked, looking up at her. "Yes, Tear?"
"...You're playing Go Fish, not Uno." She remarked amusedly, crossing her arms. "I think you just lost."
Lloyd glanced from his own deck to the bewildered Luke and back. He moaned.
"...Eheheh. Best two of three?"
Luke shrugged. "Why not? We were both playing the wrong game, anyhow."
Tear fell over.
Both boys looked over at her with a glance, shrugged, and returned to their card game.

Summary: Um, Ryou? Do you need your head checked?

Note: This was based off a present I received from Jisu (skittlestemple). If it sounds a little off because of that, I apologize in advance.
"He is so not a bishouen," I retorted, setting down the pictures on the table.
Ichigo eyed me, hands on her hips. "Is too," She cried, grinning. "When Retasu-chan went to go get you something for your birthday, the clerk said that she fainted as soon as she saw him!"
I groaned. "Is this really the time, stupid kitty?"
Her eyes gleamed, almost as if to say, 'What do you think?'
I rubbed my temples, leaning back into the cafe chair. (What had I done to deserve this?) "So she faints because this guy just happens to look a little like me. Doesn't mean that she thinks he's the cutest guy on Earth."
The door to the cafe opened; Minto ran to get menus for the incoming couple. She escorted them to a nearby booth, handing them their menus and telling them sweetly (which was really bizarre, considering this was Minto) that a waitress would come shortly.
I craned my neck to get a better look. My jaw dropped.
How could she be there with the guy that was so not a bishouen? Smiling so happily with him, as if she hadn't a single care in the world? Something was definitely off here.
Taking the pad from Ichigo, I thrust myself as their waiter instead.
"Hello," I responded coolly, narrowing my eyes at the other blonde. "Welcome to Cafe Mew Mew. What would you like to order?"
He looked slightly a-taken back. (Serves him right for stealing her away.) "Um," He managed to choke out. "Could you give us a minute?"
I nodded, briskly walking back.
Ichigo smugly greeted me, her arms crossed. "Still not convinced?"
"Shut it," I snapped, flicking her nose. She winced.
"S-shirogane-san," A voice timidly responded. I turned, blinking to see her, dressed in full cafe uniform.
Wait, wait, wait.
If Retasu was out here... then who was over there? With that guy that was not cute. In the least?
I felt slightly light-headed. What odd happening had I missed?
"Shirogane-san!"
The couple looked over in my direction; I didn't know where I was, but it felt.. warm, and oddly comforting.
Retasu smiled nervously in the couple's direction.
"Komachi-san, Natts-san... I believe Shirogane-san has fainted."
