"I thought I told you to repair the sink, Keiichiro!"
Well, this was certainly a normal day at Cafe Mew Mew.
As Retasu managed to somehow not get anything above her knees soaked as she walked over to her boss, the girl blinked.
"What seems to be the m-matter, Shirogane-san...?"
She winced as she caught curses.
As he came out from under the sink, his face became instantly a deep beet red as he saw who was standing in front of him.
"R... Retasu-san...."
She sweatdropped.
Maybe in an effort to break the awkward silence, Ryou rose from his position, twisting his vest to get the water off.
"I don't know what's wrong with this thing," He admitted, sighing. "But... it's overflowing like crazy."
"Pipes?"
He blinked. "I tried that... but what would be in there?"
"Ichigo-chan... dumped s-some kisses in there the other day."
He took a double take. "A kiss? What the h.. heck?"
"You know... those small bite-size meringues that Akasaka-san makes all the time....?"
A sigh of relief escaped his lips. "Oh.."
"W-what did you think I was talking about...?"
He shrugged. "I don't know. But it didn't make sense..."
"Excuse me~! Plumbers coming through~!"
As a black-haired girl (surely she couldn't be older than Retasu!) plowed through the two, she sent them.. well, flying in her rush to get to the sink.
As Ryou fell to the soaked floor, he somehow got the green-haired girl sitting beside him, her arms wrapped around his body.
CHINK.
As small meringues fell onto the ground, the water started to flow again. Satisfied with her handiwork, the girl looked over at the two teenagers.
"Well, that's all, yes sirree. That'll be... 10,000 yen~"
"Ten thousand?! You're kidding me. All because of that stupid cat?"
As the plumber and Ryou continued to fight over prices, Retasu decided to seize her chance and sneak out.
Sighing as she closed the door behind them, the girl continued her normal business of sweeping the floor. "Yes, this is a normal day... why wouldn't it be?"
