[TMM - Chrono] To Fall

Just wanted to see if I could write KyrxCerise. Don't get me wrong - I still support KyrxPlum, but I'm the sort of person that loves love triangles and conflicting couples. ^^;;

For those who don't know:
Cerise Aoyama = MasayaxIchigo kid; Kyr Shirogane = RxR kid

Title: To Fall
Fandom: Tokyo Mew Mew - Chrono Mew
Disclaimer: Kyr and Cerise are miiiiiiiine. x3 However, I don't own TMM.

"Aoyama! Get back to work!"

It was a normal morning in Cafe Mew Mew. The waitresses were working, save for one. Cerise Aoyama was extremely tired (heavens knew why, since she knew well that it wasn't the fault of her DNA by now), but it was obvious that her employer (or slavedriver, as she 'lovingly' nicknamed him) wouldn't let her take a rest.

...Was it her fault that she needed a thirty-minute respite?

Apparently, it was. With a grumble, she rose from her chair. Forcefully taking the broom from the slavedriver's hands, the pink-haired girl began to work. Her vision grew blurrier and blurrier as she continued to sweep (her mind was empty, to be honest); she kept working even though it was obvious that she needed to rest.

THUD.

The wooden broom had snapped into two as it fell down. Without a support, Cerise was going to be falling right ontop of that broom. Leaning a little too close, she too began to fell.

...Or did she?

She could feel warm hands catching her body. They brushed her stray pink strands away from her eyes, and kept her from falling to the floor (and that nasty broom).

"No wonder you were tired..."

Even though she was half-asleep, Cerise found it surprisingly easy to turn her lips into a small smile. She knew who was holding her by now, and she also knew that the person wasn't as heartless as she pretended to think he was.

Opening her eyes, the mew mew blinked. Was she so tired that she hadn't felt herself being slipped into a bed? Evidently, that was the case.

"Kyr..?" She gave the boy at her bedside a weak smile. "Thanks."

She didn't know the effect of the words she had told the older boy, but it was big enough for his face to turn a deep shade of red. Looking away from her, Kyr finally spoke once more.

"It's no problem, Aoyama.."
