[Kingdom Hearts - AU]
I finally wrote your present, Deji. ^^; Sorry it's so short....
Title: Rainy Day
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts
Pairing: Namiku (NaminexRiku)
Disclaimer: I don't own Kingdom Hearts.. e-e;
She was walking in the park on a rainy afternoon, a white parasol held over her head. "Riku?" Her soft-spoken voice was barely above a whisper, but it was loud enough for her companion to hear. Even if he didn't come running to her.
Brushing back locks of her pale blonde hair, Namine couldn't help but let a weak smile appear on her face. Her footsteps were as soft as they always were, but the rain drowned them out.
"Riku? Are you hiding again?" She called once more, her smile widening slightly as her blue eyes looked behind the trees. This time, she could have sworn that she heard his familiar laugh. It was easy to distinguish - after all, Riku's voice was the deepest out of the group. But where was he hiding?
Namine's expression held a somewhat exasperated smile, her free hand on her knee as she bent down to catch her breath (yet, she held a hand above her to keep the rain from falling on her). This was definitely taking too long, the blonde decided. And she would have to do something about it.
However, Namine never got her chance. In a blink of an eye, a platinum haired teenager appeared, and promptly kissed her on the lips. He was soaking wet from head to toe (which is what would happen if one didn't carry an umbrella), but a broad smile was on his face.
"Missed me much?" He asked jokingly, a confident grin on his face as he placed one hand on his hip.
The rain was slowly stopping, but the water was still dripping off Riku. Namine couldn't help but laugh at this sight, letting giggles escape her lips.
"...I definitely missed you."
