[Original] Routine & Brilliant Ideas
Both of these are exactly one hundred words. I'm not sure why, but they were insanely fun to write. ♥ Why is this entry f-locked, you might ask?
I'm thinking of re-writing them for a school project, so I don't really want people to accuse me of stealing from myself. =3= That's really all. No other rhyme or reason, despite both of the universes in these fics are my own.

Summary: Your morning routine never, ever changes.

Notes: The school in here is never stated, so feel free to assume that this could be any of my characters that attend Hoshizen or Esori.
The routine never changed. Wake up, shower, eat breakfast, throw that backpack on your shoulders, teleport yourself to school before you're late and have to get that tardy slip.
You wear the same clothes every morning when you go to a "boarding school for geniuses." (That's mage speak for magic school) It gets so boring before long. Why couldn't there be one single change that would make your day just a little bit different?
You wake up the next morning and stare at the clock beside you with a yawn.
And then you jump.
"Aw, crap! I'm gonna be laaaaate!"

Brilliant ideas never seem to come when you really want them. Ash sighed as he stared out his Science classroom window.
It'd be a perfect day to go outside and perfect that cartwheel. (Oh, fine. He'd do that after his sprained ankle was healed.)
Or maybe he could fly a kite. No, wait. His arm had just recently healed from a fracture. Couldn't risk getting hurt again.
Read a book? Couldn't. His eyes were still reeling from last week's ordeal.
He mentally groaned. Really, now. So-called brilliant ideas are horrible if all they do is cause him even more pain.
