Title: Strawberry Waffles
Summary: Really early birthday present for Satou in all honesty. Saltigo Kuroneko belongs to Satou, not me. ^^;; I, on the other hand, own Shuugo Shirogane/Shawn Grant/Shawn Beaumont..
"Meeeeeeeeeeeep!"
It was a perfect day to go rollerblading, or at least - that was what Shuugo Shirogane believed. The redhead was merrily skating in the park, seeming like he was an expert at this, but it seemed that he was the only one out of the two who could actually skate. His companion, Salt Ringo Kuroneko (AKA Saltigo), wasn't good at this at all. She wobbled from side to side as she tried to regain her balance, but it didn't help matters. She couldn't skate for the life of her.
"Kuroneko-chan, Daijobu?" It was obvious from Shuugo's accent that he wasn't fluent in English. Saltigo tried to act like she didn't need help as she somehow managed to stay on both feet without falling over on one side. The mew mew gave a timid nod, but didn't say anything.
"...You can't skate, yerf? Well, we could just have some strawberry waffles.." Shuu replied, sweatdropping as he spoke. The boy skated over to a nearby ledge, sat down, and took off his rollerblades. He then laced up his tennis shoes, and walked back over to where Saltigo was (who still hadn't fallen yet, much to Shuugo's surprise), rollerblades in hand.
"S-Strawberry waffles would be nice.." Saltigo commented, giving a childish grin as she spoke. The color of red roses came to her cheeks, and it soon became obvious to Shuugo that she was blushing. But what the heck was she blushing for? It wasn't like they were on a date or anything, so she wasn't blushing because of that... was she?
"That's wonder--" Shuugo's sentence was cut off as the boy rushed over to Saltigo's side. Within seconds, the boy had caught her in his arms, and it didn't look like he was going to let go anytime soon.
"...I'm alright, Shuugo-kun." Saltigo weakly replied, flashing a weak smile towards the elder boy.
Shuugo, on the other hand, let out a sigh. "Well, those waffles aren't going to walk up and leave. If you're really not alright, then we won't go.." He replied, trying to act like his older brother (whom was very moody and depressive, according to the fox gijinka) as he spoke.
Saltigo giggled. "Well, maybe they are. Let's get going, then~!" She begun to skate (or was it walk?) over towards the waffle stand, giggling all the while. Shuugo gave a blank stare, but eventually stared to chase after her.
"...Wait for me, yerf!" He cried as he put on his rollerblades and begun to blade after her. Today certainly seemed to be a normal day at the park, ne?
