She hated it whenever he accompanied her on walks to the beach. Not to say that she hated him, per say... rather, she hated how he dragged his attitude along with him. It happened every single time.
"Man.... Kaito-kun," She would always say, sighing.
He would laugh and ruffle her hair. "Lucia-chan," He would say in his normal teasing manner. "You get upset so easily it's not even funny."
She would pout, crossing her arms. "Who said it was funny in the first place?"
Just when she was about to whack him with all her might, he would silence her by looking up to the sky.
"Shush, Lucia-chan," He would say, sitting down on the sand.
She'd always follow suit, sitting next to him. "Hm?"
He would point to the star at the very top. "It's a very pretty star, isn't it?"
Even though he'd always point to a different star, Lucia always thought that her boyfriend was being a bit odd by stargazing at the beach. Didn't normal people do it on the grass or something?
"Yes," She would finally admit, letting him wrap his arm around her neck. "But, Kaito-kun, why do we always stargaze on the beach?"
He would shrug, muttering something about how they originated in the water, so he figured that stargazing near their home would be nice.
She always did look at him like he was a weird child after that. "Shut up," She murmured.
He grinned. "Make me."
She leaned in, silencing him by pressing her lips onto his. As she reluctantly let go, Lucia noticed that she had finally gotten her boyfriend, the ever-confident Kaito Doumoto, to shut up. She would always giggle, letting herself fall asleep in his lap after that.
After all, the walks were less boring once his attitude had disappeared, and that was just the way she liked it.
But, err.. enjoy?
