"Yoshi-rin? Are you cooking again?"
A brown-haired girl was in the kitchen, as she usually was. Her eyes were focused on her current task (which was mixing a cake batter), but her mouth turned into a small smile upon hearing the all-too familiar voice.
"Yes, Kyten." She replied in her usual calm manner, her hands delicately folding the chocolate chips into the cake batter. It was a peaceful day, as it usually was. After all, the Mew Project had ended this time around. There were no aliens attacking the earth, and no monsters dared to roam the streets at night anymore.
However, she wasn't expecting Kyr to come up behind her, and place his hands on her shoulders. Yoshino's face became a pale shade of red, and she could have sworn that her skin turned a pale pink as well. "K-Kyten..."
"Hm?" He replied, brushing loose strands of Yoshino's maple-brown hair away from her face. "Is there a crime of placing a hair clip in your hair, Yoshi-rin?"
Yoshino shook her head, still blushing. "N-no, there isn't. But..."
"But what?" Kyr asked, clearly amused at her words. "You were caught off-guard, is that all?"
Yoshino meekly nodded, but returned to her task. She didn't want to ignore Kyr, but he really didn't seem to know when to stop. Instinctively, her hands went to her hair, feeling around for something. Upon feeling something hard, her smile seemed to grow a little bit wider than it was earlier.
"Thanks, Kyten." She replied cheerfully, her hands still focused on actually mixing that cake batter. But Kyr wouldn't let her go without doing one more thing to her. The angel gijinka planted a kiss on her face, and began to walk away.
"I'll catch you later, alright?" He asked, giving her a wave. And for once, he left a bewildered Yoshino in the kitchen...
